Fall 2020 Vacancy Election

Dear UAW 2865 Members,

Please read below for an important update on the October 2020 Vacancy Election.

There are contested positions, and the election will proceed as planned on October 15th and 16th. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, this election will only be conducted electronically with the Elections Committee on-call for assistance throughout the election.

An invitation to a secret and secure ballot will be sent to you from a secure online voting platform, Simply Voting (vote@simplyvoting.com), on Thursday October 15th, 2020. Voting will close at 11:59 PM on Friday October 16th, 2020 (all times Pacific Daylight Time, GMT -7).

If you encounter issues while voting—i.e. you did not get an invitation to your ballot or you have trouble logging into the ballot—please call our Zoom hotline. The hotline will be available from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Thursday October 15th and 12:00 PM (noon) to 6:00 PM on Friday October 16th, and will be staffed by an Elections Committee member. If you have any questions, please contact the Elections Committee at elections@uaw2865.org.
